The bright room faces the street which has a 15 foot meridian from
which palm trees and flowers grow. A double bed, closet, rattan blinds,
and two desks furnish the room. Sheets, pillows, and blankets are
provided. The kitchen, bathroom, living room, and balcony overlooking
the street are yours to use. My room is on the other side of the bathroom.
There is a dining table, stereo, cable television, and two sofas available
for your use in the living room. Internet cafe's are within two blocks
as is a covered Mexican food market, an bank machine (ATM), a 24 hour
7-11, fresh quesdillas, tamales, and everything you might want - including
boutique shops for clothing, curios, chocolate, etc.
The street is lively from Thursday to Saturday and quiet on other days.
On one corner is an Irish pub, below is a small bar and hair salon. The small
bar below is fairly noisy (normal by Mexico standards) on Friday and Saturday.
Laundry (service and coin-operated) is available around the corner and two
supermarkets are within walking distance as well as many traditional small
shops.
I work full-time and the apartment is yours from 6am-6pm weekdays - other
than my two friendly cats - shown on the left. Having lived in Mexico
for over ten years I'm happy to provide insider advice on what to see
during your stay.
